The first TARDIS was recreated for An adventure in Space and Time, and it was recreated once more for Christmas special episode in 2017, Twice Upon a Time. Steven Moffat and the cast can’t hide their excitement at being on the set of the original TARDIS.

David Bradley about playing the First Doctor in the 2017 Christmas special episode

Interviewed on the BUZZ stage at MCM London Comic Con, David Bradley talks about recreating the First Doctor in the 2017 Doctor Who Christmas special, “Twice Upon A Time”. He’s accompanied by Claudia Grant (she played Carol Ann Ford), the actress who played the Doctor’s very first companion and granddaughter, Susan, in the 50th anniversary drama documentary An Adventure In Space And Time, and they give a shout out to the Big Finish audio adventures they’ve recorded together. But due to her appearance in the new BBC drama Trust Me, Jodie Whitaker has been doing the interview rounds. For the first time, about a month ago, the fans were able to hear her thoughts on taking over Doctor’s role.

By the way, David Tennant reacts to the recent casting of Jodie Whitaker in his former role of Dr. Who, he seems to be glad to see a female Doctor Who. Especially that she is his was in Broadchurch for 3 seasons.
