Hello Universe, goodbye Eleventh Doctor

Eleventh silly, raggedy Doctor. He was fantastic because Matt Smith and his character could transform astoundingly from silly to angry or worse. In this fan-made video the author tried to show all angles of his fantastic Eleventh Hour. And the result looks great!

Reactions to Steven Moffat departure

A few days ago Steven Moffat has announced his departure from the show – he will be stepping down as scriptwriter and showrunner of Doctor Who at the end of season 10, which will air in Spring 2017, after the 2016 Christmas special. No Doctor Who this year, :(, but that is another story!

Steven Moffat will be replaced by Chris Chibnall, writer of Torchwood and Broadchurch and the some of Doctor Who stories. Some people never liked Steven Moffat, as I have heard, but he will be missed in the future.

Matt Smith talks to Timey Wimey Show host, Juliette Boland, about his time on Doctor Who with Steven Moffat!

David Tennant and Billie Piper taking part at the Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia in the United States (9th – 10th May) while Matt Smith, Freema Agyeman and Alex Kingston were in Brisbane attending the Whoniverse Five City Tour in Australia (9th – 17th May).

David Tennant: “We’re killing it up her in Philly. They love us in Philly. I think they prefer us to you. That’s very much the vibe that we’re getting.”

Matt Smith: “Tennant, Piper, hello. We see your video and we raise your video dude.”

Alex Kingston: “Our video is so much better than your video.”

David Tennant: “Matt, Freema, Alex. So you sent a video from your Australian convention – oh look at us we’ve got thousands of friends here – all cheering and whooping and showing off. Well I’m in Philadelphia and behind these walls is all of Philadelphia, about 4.5 million people ready to tell you how popular we are. But i don’t need to show you that… You just have to trust me.”

Karen Gillan takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge #IceBucketChallenge

It took some time since she has been nominated by both Matt Smith and Neil Gaiman for the ALS ice-bucket challenge, for obvious reasons (the delay was partly due to having to track down Power Rangers costumes for herself and her Selfie co-stars John Cho and Keith L Williams), but she is back.

Steven Moffat is next, he has been nominated along Taissa Farmiga and US president Barack Obama.

False King – Matt Smith tribute

“The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Matt Smith’s era was and will probably always be many people’s favourite era of Doctor Who. This is a tribute to the Eleven Doctor’s story, his companions and of course, Matt Smith.

John Hurt Interview about Matt Smith, David Tennant & 50th Anniversary

You know John Hurt’s role in The Day of the Doctor, right? He hasn’t spoke about his return as a Doctor, but the rumours exist and they say about a possible appearance in the series.

Recently, Red Carpet News put the question to Hurt directly and he doesn’t seem very comfortable answering. “I can’t think for a second… You’re asking me to answer something which I can’t answer,” he says. “But I can’t think there’d be any reason to do that.”

What do you think? Will he return? Do you want him back?
