It’s not long since Karen Gillan left Doctor Who series, now he joins the US TV series NTSF:SD:SUV (National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle). I’ve never heard about this show, but it seems to be a procederal and action parody and it’s filming the third series. It should be interesting to watch…
Karen Gillan will appear alongside existing cast members Paul Scheer, Kate Mulgrew, Rebecca Romijn, Brandon Johnson, June Diane Raphael, Rob Riggle, Martin Starr and Peter Serafinowicz.
NTSF:SD:SUV – which stands for National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle – is created by Scheer who stars as agent Trent Hauser alongside his elite counter-terrorist unit. Gillan will appear as Daisy, the team’s ‘Q’ tech expert, in a third season of, “furious screaming, pregnant pauses, and even more civilian casualties than last season.”
In their bid to bring down San Diego-based terrorists, the unit will go to extreme lengths including surgically swapping faces with each other, kidknapping an alien, faking their own deaths and, er, entering the dangerous British District of San Diego.
The new series has already begun shooting in LA and London and will be broadcast on US channel Adult Swim this July.
