I’ve been writing about the series for some years but I did not know that Doctor Who had a talk show, where some people were discussing the episode right after it was released. I knew about the YouTube channel but not about the talk show: it was called Whovians, it was created by Rove McManus and aired in Australia after each episode of Doctor Who from 2017-2020. It received positive reviews from fans and critics but it was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic.
In the following video essay Crispy discusses the talk show. Lately the Whovians team ran a panel on Zoom to discuss each episode of Doctor Who: Flux, there were talks of continuing the show, but with Doctor Who’s new deal with Disney the talk show’s future remains uncertain.
