Matt Smith is well known for the role in Doctor Who, but he was first star-spotted on stage at the Royal Court. As he returns as patron of the theatre’s Young Writers’ festival, in this interview he talks to Andrew Dickson about limbering up for the next batch of Doctor Who, why he can’t wait to get back into theatre and about the challenges of peeing live in front of an audience.
