The most notable news of the day, beside the election for a new Catholic Pope, is that Executive producer Caroline Skinner is leaving Doctor Who to join BBC Drama Production in London.
She will be replace by the BBC Wales’ Head of Drama, Faith Penhale, that will be undertaking the role of executive producer on the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who, alongside the show runner, writer and executive producer Steven Moffat.
