As announced on Digital Spy, Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2 #1 has become the first single issue comic for a same-day print and iBooks release.
IDW Publishing‘s crossover miniseries became the first title to debut simultaneously on the digital platform last week, reports Robot 6.
The issue currently occupies the number one spot on the iTunes Comics & Graphic Novels chart, it’s also the first title to be released in single issues through the storefront.
The crossover is written by Scott Tipton and David Tipton and illustrated by JK Woodward, and follows a joint adventure between the Doctor, his companions and Captain Picard’s crew as they unite to take on the combined threat of the Cybermen and the Borg.
Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2 #1 is available from the iTunes App Store for £2.99.
