The episode aired last night but because of some things I had to do I only watched today in re-run. I can’t say I lost too much things – the episode is not perfect, it has some things the writer and the producers missed like watching the bombs effect during on the bombardment… on the balcony, buy I can say I liked it. I liked ideas like repeating the offering food cycle from the beginning but in the right background not only as an episode introduction, an episode in which the favorite Time Lords tries again to save the world and tries to save also Joy, or the temporal hotel that brings people in the right period and place, and they are not the only things.
The briefcase code got from nowhere just like the universe, but nobody cares about the universe – we only are glad we are living in it. And the time passages from hotel in the year 4202 (that is only 2024 written in reverse) are physical connected so the idea of a temporal paradox is somehow excluded even if the the paradoxes do exists in case the time travel do exists.
And the cicles continue: to live one year one day after another has to be something unusual for a time travel that can go also through space as he / she wishes but it’s not unusual for the Doctor. It didn’t happened too often, but it did happen. As conclusion, I am expecting the next season. Many people were not quite happy because of the show, especially when the Doctor gender changed for a few seasons, but I am not quite of insistent on some details – the show is the story of an alien, and the extraterrestrial life has its rules. The show is not perfect but it has enough interesting things and even historical things and that’s more important at least for the moment.

The Doctor is returning next year in the 15th series of the New Doctor Who (after the few years break and my 15th series I am constantly watching the show), but some people are considering this new season only the second – it’s only the second broadcast on Disney+ while the show has 61 years. One can’t see such reality rupture too often.
