In Lagos, a mysterious figure called the Barber rules. The TARDIS lands in Lagos so that the Doctor can visit the Barber, and Doctor’s friend… but something goes very wrong with the TARDIS as soon as he crosses the threshold. The Doctor finds stories hold real power as he confronts the Spider weaving a vengeful web. There can be some complains that the episode does not have the action or the expectancies some people may have waited about it, but it’s not a bad episode.
Of course, it could have been better, but what would you do if you get yourself trapped in a place you love, together with some other people, without the possibility to get out? Would you talk about the situation, would you share your stories, would you take control of the situation and the engine trying to get out of there? If your answers are yes then you are prepared to watch the episode or you are prepared to watch the episode again. The best thing about it is that it shows people can forgive and they can give second chances to the people that makes mistakes. And remember one important thing: the Doctor’s life is full with stories. There are people around the world that are watching the stories from the beginning, all the 62 years, and they still like or love them.
