Doctor Who – season 15, episode 6 – The Interstellar Song contest

Hosted by none other than Rylan on a space station with some protection again the cold of space, welcome to the very hot place known as 803rd Interstellar Song Contest! Doctor and Belinda got there because the Doctor’s mission to return Belinda to Earth brings them to a space station’s song competition and they stayed, but after they triggered the Phase 1 everything got insane and their lives, along with the live of more 3 trillion people were in danger. What started as entertainment turns into a fight for survival.

Having with them just the right persons helped them escape, not without being almost dead, and some calls from Doctor’s granddaughter influenced him. Nobody can probably say if what the Doctor got from his granddaughter were images or some kind of memories, but if Rani has return then Doctor’s granddaughter can also return, he not knowing where she is.

Do you know who Rani is? If no, then you should know Rani is a renegade Time Lord and amoral scientist who engages in unscrupulous biological experimentation on humans and other species and she was around in one form since the 14th season. Now she bi-regenerated like the last Doctor and she will continue appearing in the show.

Doctor Who team went behind the jam-packed stage door of the Interstellar Song Contest just for fans and they caught up with the likes of writer Juno Dawson, a writer and a Doctor Who fan, Showrunner Russell T Davies and MFX Creature and Prosthetics designer Neill Gorton to discover how the concert was brought from script to screen!

And the Intergalactic song contest beats the European song contest and Die Hard making the episode interesting. And the last song is quite interesting, even for humans like us.
