News about Time Fracture, May 2021

14684 UNIT Field Log, the latest transmission from UNIT black site and Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, the popular chief scientific officer of UNIT, was received and uploaded to YouTube last year. According to the Time Fracture plot synopsis, the event in London takes place in 1940, during the height of the Blitz. “A weapon of unknown origin destroys a small corner of Mayfair, and simultaneously opens up a rift in space and time. For decades, UNIT has fought to protect the people of Earth from the dangers it poses, but they’ve been beaten back as the fracture multiplies out of control.”

Since August 2020 the ground breaking immersive theatrical Doctor Who adventure was in developing and we know now more about it. First of all, the Time Fracture is based on an original story arc created by writer Daniel Dingsdale and audiences will encounter a gallery of classic characters, including Daleks, Cybermen, Time Lords, and a character from Time Lord Victorious, BBC Studios’ brand new multi-platform Doctor Who story.

Second, though it was originally expected to launch in 2020 the show is set to finally launch at the end of the month in London – and it is said the the sets looks pretty epic.

John Barrowman has recently joined the cast of Time Fracture and he discusses his role in the immersive experience. Also, the actor says he’ll always come back to Captain Jack Harkness amid series 13 rumours, just days after a leaked book synopsis hinted he could appear in Doctor Who series 13.

David Bradley discusses how it feels to reprise his role as the First Doctor.
