Watching Good Omens season 2 was fun not because David Tennant is 10th / 14th Doctor or because I watch Michael Sheen playing a few known roles. They both are good actors and they did a wonderful show, a show with several hints about Doctor Who (including a trade that included an issue of Doctor Who comic). Neil Gaiman’s contributions as a writer for the show must have solidified the bond between the two worlds.
Episode 2’s minisode ‘A Companion to Owls’ brings together David Tennant’s father-in-law, Peter Davison (best known as the Fifth Doctor), and Ty Tennant, Davison’s real-life grandson and David Tennant’s son. Glenn Miller’s ‘Moonlight Serenade’, played by Aziraphale in the Bentley, appeared in Doctor Who episodes set during World War Two. The fez, famously associated with Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor, makes an appearance as well. Some other cameos are referenced in the following images.
